Leaders sought to share messages for stay local campaign
Business and community leaders are being sought to share a video message of support urging residents to shop and stay local.
East Staffordshire Borough Council is looking for leaders to contribute to its #StayLocal online campaign, by submitting a video reminding locals why shopping local is crucial for the economy.
The recording should be ideally 30 to 40 seconds long, and include:
- Their name name, organisation and position plus a short message to include some/all of the following,
- How local businesses have been impacted by Covid
- The measures local businesses have introduced to help keep visitors safe
- Encourage residents to Stay Local, Stay Safe and support local businesses by shopping with them
The video messages will be published by the council in the run-up to the reopening of hospitality, retail and leisure venues, due to take place in the spring.
To submit your video, send to [email protected] by 8 March.
