Leadership expert to participate in charity rickshaw rally in India
A leadership expert is swapping boardrooms for back roads this International Women’s Day, driving a rickshaw 1,000km across India to raise funds for women and girls’ education and maternal health.
Jude Jennison, founder of Leaders by Nature and creator of the Ask Opus leadership platform, will take part in the Sisterhood Rickshaw Rally 2026, joining 40 female founders to drive from Chennai to Goa in a three-wheeled rickshaw.
Known for her work with CEOs and senior teams using experiential leadership development with horses, Jude spends her working life helping leaders navigate uncertainty, pressure, and behaviour change.
In March, she’ll be living those lessons first-hand.
Jude said: “I help leaders lead with clarity and confidence when things are unpredictable. This challenge takes me right into that territory.
“It’s going to be uncomfortable, noisy, exhausting and meaningful, which is exactly why I’m doing it.”
The rally, running from 2–8 March 2026, will cover more than 1,000km, navigating chaotic traffic, rough roads and intense heat, all in aid of grassroots projects supporting women and girls in India.
The group aims to raise £150,000 for education, skills training and maternal health initiatives, including building safe classrooms for girls, preventing postpartum anaemia, and creating pathways to financial independence through vocational training.
Jude added: “This isn’t about bravado or bucket lists.
“It’s about responsibility. Education changed my life and gave me choices. Every girl deserves that same opportunity.”
Alongside running a leadership development business, Jude is a bestselling author of Leading Through Uncertainty and works extensively with organisations facing rapid change.
Her decision to take part is deeply personal.
She continued: “I’m doing this in honour of my mum, who devoted her life to education and made sure my sister and I had opportunities she never did.
“Supporting girls’ education in India feels like a natural extension of that legacy.”
People are encouraged to donate, sponsor and follow the journey by following @thesisterhoodgroup on Instagram.
Jude said: “Even £10 makes a difference. And if you can’t donate, please share the story and follow me on LinkedIn where I’ll be sharing videos along the way.”
