Learners across the Summit Learning Trust have celebrated successful GCSE results.

Across Cockshut Hill School, Ninestiles, an Academy, and Lyndon School, learners have been celebrating a wide range of achievements.

Learners across the three schools are preparing to take their next steps into sixth form, college, apprenticeships and other post-16 opportunities.

Cockshut Hill School enjoyed another successful year of GCSE results, with more learners than ever achieving strong passes in English and Maths, providing a solid foundation for their future education and career pathways.

Toha from the school achieved an outstanding set of GCSE results, including four Grade 9s, six Grade 8s and one Grade 7.

Having moved to the UK from Spain shortly before joining Cockshut Hill School in Year 7, she embraced every aspect of school life, becoming a highly respected member of the school community and serving with distinction as one of their Head Learners.

At Ninestiles, results included the school’s highest ever attainment in English and Maths at Grade 5 and above.

Learners also secured the school’s highest ever attainment across the EBacc suite of subjects at Grade 5 and above.

There was also an increase in the number of learners achieving Grade 7 or higher across all of their subjects, alongside improved outcomes in almost every subject, reflecting the hard work and commitment of learners and staff across the school.

Miriam, at Ninestiles secured six Grade 9s, one Grade 8, one Grade 7 and a Level 2 Distinction*and Abdul achieved 3 Grade 9s, 5 Grade 8s and a Grade 7.

Vince Green, CEO of Summit Learning Trust said: “GCSE results day is a highlight of our year across Summit Learning Trust, and I am immensely proud of what our amazing cohort of learners have achieved in 2026.

“These results significantly improved results in all our schools reflect not only their hard work and commitment, but the exceptional quality of teaching, support, encouragement and high expectations they have received from colleagues and families throughout their time with us.

“What matters most to us is that every young person has great life chances when they finish their time at our academies, whatever their starting point.

“Today is a chance to recognise the progress made across our schools and to celebrate the whole community of people who have helped our learners reach this point.”
