Speaking about the AGM, Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber president Martin Hall said: “I am delighted to welcome Nicola Forsyth, Helen Walker and Shane Robinson to the Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber Executive Committee.

“Each brings a wealth of experience, fresh perspectives and a genuine commitment to supporting our local business community.

“Their appointment further strengthens an Executive Committee that is passionate about helping our members thrive and ensuring the Chamber continues to be a powerful voice for business across our region.

“The past year has been one of real progress, with growing membership, increased attendance at our events, stronger engagement with our local MPs and stakeholders, and an influential role in shaping the Staffordshire Gateway Growth Panel report.

“The year ahead will no doubt bring many challenges but also opportunities, and I look forward to working with our Executive Committee, Chamber colleagues and members to ensure that business remains firmly at the heart of those conversations."

Martin’s term as president centres around the five key themes of strengthening the relationship between education and enterprise, helping businesses embrace technology and AI, unlocking opportunities arising from HS2 and regional investment, supporting business growth and resilience, and ensuring the voice of business is represented wherever important decisions are being made.

Charlie Elliott, head of Royal Sutton Coldfield and Lichfield & Tamworth Chambers, said: “We would like to thank outgoing committee members Fiona Rouse and Hannah Montgomery for their contributions to the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber’s Executive Committee and for the time and commitment they have given to supporting our local business community.

“We would also like to recognise Graces Cares CIC for its work as our outgoing charity of the year. Supporting local charities through our business network is an important part of the Chamber’s role, and we thank the team for the work they do to support people in our community.

“As we welcome our new committee members and look ahead to the coming year, we remain committed to bringing businesses together, championing local priorities and creating opportunities for our members to connect, collaborate and grow.”
