Lichfield independent audiology practice Cathedral Hearing is celebrating its first anniversary with a special weekend of activities - including choir singing in the Cathedral city.

On Saturday 5 July Lichfield’s Tuneless Choir will be performing on Bird Street at 11am after a special proclamation from Town Crier Adrian Holmes.

Throughout the day, there will be £10 off bookings for hearing assessments and earwax removals, plus £100 off leading hearing aids. And for every hearing aid purchased, patients will receive a free accessory.

Then on Sunday 6 July the Cathedral Hearing team will be at Cars In The Park with a special retro VW Campervan. Visitors to Beacon Park can visit the retro roaming holiday home for a hearing health MOT involving an examination of the ears with a video otoscope.

And throughout the weekend the Sandford Street practice will be raising money for local community fund We Love Lichfield (www.welovelichfield.com)

Principal Audiologist Laura Evans (pictured) said: “I can’t believe it’s been a year since I opened the doors to Cathedral Hearing. We have achieved so much in a very short space of time and I am very proud of the team.

“I would like to thank every patient for putting their trust in me to help them with their hearing. It means a lot.

“The weekend will be a special celebration with lots going on and I invite existing patients and those who want to chat about their hearing to pop in. And of course, all friends are welcome.

“I have always wanted to offer a special service including long appointment times and offering multiple hearing aid manufacturers. Taking care of people’s hearing is important and we are on a mission to break down the barriers to having your hearing tested and encourage everyone to take good care of their hearing health.

“But it’s not just about the practice, it’s about being part of the wider community. I started raising funds for We Love Lichfield last year and this has highlighted to me the amazing work of the voluntary sector across the district helping thousands of people.”
