Life coach gains embodiment coaching certification
Qualified life and career coach Ana Indi Amona (pictured) is now certified in embodiment coaching with Embodiment Unlimited.
Ana, who attended University of Warwick and later founded Rainha Noir Coaching, started pursuing this new qualification at the start of 2025.
Embodiment coaching is a type of coaching which supports the development and growth of individuals by involving the body and helping them connect more deeply with themselves and others around them.
As part of the course, Ana had to complete various activities to support her connection to her body and mind, such as martial arts, yoga and a 13-week course of Improv Comedy classes.
The course was delivered and certified by Embodiment Unlimited, which was founded by Mark Walsh.
A pioneer in Embodiment Coaching in the world, Mark has certified over 2000 embodiment coaches, has worked with companies like Google and Shell, and in warzones such as Ukraine.
Embodiment coaching supports neuroplasticity, trauma healing and effective lasting change, which happens not just in the mind but also in the body.
Ana said: “People can expect a new type of coaching, which will support them in exploring their goals and barriers, build their confidence in their personal and professional life, and translate and understand the information their body may be giving them.
“This will help them prevent problems such as burnout or excessive stress, which happens when the body goes through exhaustion due to exposure to long-term stressors.
“Embodiment coaching supports in identifying and preventing or supporting the healing of the above.”
As part of the course, Ana coached some volunteers to help her develop some of the techniques she learned during the course.
A volunteer said: “Embodiment coaching helps connect with the body so you can understand it. Teach it how to be in different states so you do not always fall into the same pattern. Empowerment, awareness, and choice.”
