Lindisfarne duo to perform classics at Lichfield venue
An evening of songs, stories, scurrilous gossip and laughs, with Billy Mitchell and Bob Fox from their adventures as members of Lindisfarne, Warhorse and The Pitmen Poets.
Two of the UK’s best known and beloved singers are taking to the road together in October 2025 to tour their show, ‘From the Horse’s Mouth’ – including a date at The Hub at St Mary’s in Lichfield on Friday 24 October.
It’s a rare opportunity to see the duo performing together after several years of successful individual work.
They will lead audiences through some of their favourite songs including original Lindisfarne classics and trad folk arrangements - ‘Sally Wheatley’, ‘Meet me on the Corner’, ‘Dance to your Daddy’, ‘Collier Laddie’s Wife’, ‘Big River’, ‘Galway Shawl’ and many more.
The Hub creative director Anthony Evans said: “Bob and Billy are masters of their art – their roots in the North-East feed their innate harmonisations and their unique vocal sound.
“Don’t miss this rare chance to see them perform together!”
Tickets for the show, at £22 are available online or in person from the venue.
