Local charities invited to apply for Chamber support
Applications are now open for the Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber of Commerce's Chosen Charity of the Year.
The Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber of Commerce chooses one charity every year to support in their fundraising efforts and help spread the word about the incredible work they are doing within the local community.
The Chamber are now searching for applicants to serve as their Charity of the Year for the 2022 - 2024 term. The deadline is Friday 4 March 2022.
The next charity will take over from St Giles Hospice who support people in the community with incurable illnesses such as cancer, motor neurone disease, heart failure, MS and respiratory disease, as well as their families and helpers.
Jason Challoner (pictured), president of the Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber and managing director of Valyou Recruitment said: "I 'm looking forward to working along my two deputise, Julie Poppleton Director of Careers for Chase Terrace Academy and Fiona Rouse Director of Pi-Kem Limited, to select our chosen charity for the Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce.
"We encourage all charities throughout our area to promote themselves for our consideration as chosen charity for a period of 2 years from April 2022 until March 2024. Our Executive Board look forward to receiving your applications, so that we can shortlist worthy charities for our members to place their votes."
Applicants must be a registered charity as well as a Chamber member.
