Logistics firm celebrates 10-year anniversary of employee
Miko Nosarzewski (pictured), one of the longest-serving team members at Simpex Express will be celebrating his 10-year anniversary in May.
A critical part of the operations team in Birmingham, Miko is also the fire officer, and the health & safety manager.
Adding to his talents, Mike has now achieved his IOSH Managing Safely course, which is approved and validated by the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health.
Using the training company You can do it. training, based in Stoke, the class room based IOSH training held at Becketts Farm in Birmingham over three days in January.
It provided practical and effective tools, processes and knowledge within the workplace.
Miko Nosarzewski said: “I seized the chance to become the Health & Safety Manager initially as I really enjoy the responsibility of keeping the company compliant, whilst also protecting my colleagues and our visitors.
“It’s been great for my own personal development, and also for the company as we get larger.
“The learning and training has been particularly interesting too, opening my mind to the various considerations that other people take for granted.”
