Birmingham based logistics firm Simpex is celebrating 10-year anniversaries of several long standing employees.

Founded 15 years ago by Simon Beechener in Birmingham, Simpex has grown from a small start-up into a trusted logistics and customs clearance provider, now employing 18 people across Birmingham and Leeds.

A key highlight of the firm is that more than half of their workforce are women – a rare achievement in what is traditionally a male-dominated industry.

The employees celebrating their 10 year anniversaries are financial director Debbi Brown, operations director Stuart Verity (pictured), operations and health & safety manager Mikołaj Nosarzewski, sales director David Brown, and Tomasz Rembecki, operations & DGSA officer.

Debbie Brown has been with Simpex almost from the beginning and is our longest-serving team member with 13 years of service.

Her contribution to the company’s growth and stability has been invaluable, providing strong financial leadership and dedication that has helped guide Simpex to where it is today.

Stuart Verity heads up the operations team with a wealth of knowledge. For 12 years, he has supported the team across quotations, planning, and client delivery, playing a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Mikołaj has been an integral part of the operations team for 11 years, while also taking on the crucial role of health & safety and fire officer.

With his IOSH qualification, he ensures the team operates to the highest safety standards.

Based in the Leeds office, Dave Brown continues to support the operations team while leading sales growth for 11 years. His client focus and expertise have been key to building relationships and driving new business.

Tomasz is a vital member of the Birmingham team, supporting operations as well as providing Dangerous Goods training and DGSA expertise for 10 years, ensuring both compliance and continuous staff development.
