Logistics operator becomes bag sponsor of leading industry exhibition

Logistics operator Simpex was announced as the official bag sponsor at this year's Multimodal Exhibition, held at the NEC Birmingham.

Since launching in 2008, Multimodal has become the UK's leading logistics, transport and supply chain exhibition, bringing together shippers, manufacturers, retailers, freight forwarders and logistics providers from across the industry.

This year's event welcomed almost 15,000 visitors, making it another successful three days of networking, knowledge sharing and business development.

As the event's official bag sponsor, thousands of visitors received a Simpex bag on arrival, each containing one of an orange squishy stress vans, which quickly became one of the most talked-about giveaways of the exhibition.

Stacy Woodall, commercial manager at Simpex, said: "When planning the project, it was important to us to work with businesses closer to home wherever possible.

“The exhibition bags were supplied by fellow Solihull Chamber member Hudson Group, while the ever-popular orange squishy vans were manufactured in the UK by Urofoam."

Working with both companies helped ensure the project came together smoothly, while also supporting UK manufacturing and strengthening relationships with businesses in our local network.
