A logistics provider has expanded its warehouse space near Solihull.

OnLogistics has increased the warehouse pallet space at its 22,000 sq. ft ecommerce and distribution facility at Elmdon, next to Birmingham airport.

To service new clients through the growth of its fulfilment service offering, OnLogistics has implemented new pallet racking, increasing storage space for ecommerce businesses.

The expansion is an effort to help online retailers with nationwide capacity challenges and to meet the ongoing demand for home delivery services whilst maintaining supply chain standards.

With demand continuing to overtake supply at an unprecedented rate, a recurring trend of businesses struggling to source warehouse capacity is beginning to have a serious effect on supply chains up and down the country.

To assist companies, OnLogistics is able to offer full warehousing, pick, pack and distribution services with full stock and inventory visibility.

The firm says it is well-placed to meet the demand created by the increasing number of online shoppers seeking deliveries at home.

Managing director Nick Bennett said: “Our customers appreciate our approach of shaping our portfolio of services around their customers to provide a seamless best in class service.

“It has always been at the core of our offering, and we hope that our additional warehousing capacity will be welcomed by both existing and prospective customers seeking support for their home delivery operation. ”
