Logistics service welcomes new head of transport

LTS Global Solutions have welcomed Nigel Ferriday to their team to head up their transport operations.

LTS have been growing year on year across their logistics, transport and shipping services. With the growth and demands placed on transport operations, and their projections for the medium term, they identified the need for a highly experienced senior manager to drive their transport operations to a new level.

The head of transport is a newly created role and Nigel will be taking full responsibility of transport operations and will be working closely with customers, suppliers, and the senior management team.

Nigel (pictured) brings a depth of knowledge, expertise, and operations management from fast moving distribution, warehousing, and profit driven service environments. Along with his National and International CPC Nigel has a 'right first time ' attitude and an intrinsic flair to continuously drive process improvement and error reduction.

LTS are confident that with his leadership, commitment, and enthusiasm this will strengthen, streamline and grow their transport operations whilst working seamlessly alongside our Logistics and Shipping teams.

His previous roles include warehouse and distribution manager for Arrow Distributors, branch manager for Pickfords Moving & Storage, depot manager for Vogue Logistics and UK fleet manager for Amco Services.
