Love Local conference raises £2,000 for air ambulance charity

The recently held Local Business Conference, hosted by ISO Quality Services (QSL) has raised over £2,000 for Midlands Air Ambulance charity.

The conference held in Worcestershire County Cricket Club and celebrated the strength and diversity of local businesses, offering attendees the opportunity to showcase their products and services while gaining thought-provoking insights from expert speakers. 

A total of 18 exhibitors from a broad range of sectors, created a dynamic and engaging environment for networking and knowledge sharing.

A key highlight of the day was the carefully curated speakers, each offering practical takeaways for businesses navigating an evolving landscape. 

George Richards, director of JRP Solutions, explored how changes in people’s behaviour can be one of the most cost-effective ways to strengthen sustainability.

Will Tams from Assure Technical shared insights into how cybersecurity is evolving in 2026, driven by the rapid rise of artificial intelligence.

The pace shifted with a live, podcast-style session with Richard Horton and Dave Morris, who explored one of the most common challenges faced by professionals today: confidence. 

Jennifer Appleton, managing director of ISO QSL, shared valuable insights into business resilience and demonstrated how ISO standards can strengthen continuity, risk management and organisational confidence. 

Reflecting the event’s strong charitable focus, attendees also heard from Wiktoria Jaworska, corporate partnership executive at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, who spoke about the charity’s life-saving work and the impact it has across the region.  

The conference concluded with Rich Brown, Head of Sales at QBD, who delivered an engaging session on social media and the growing role of AI in reshaping how businesses connect with their audiences. 

Further demonstrating their long-standing commitment to Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, ISO QSL donated all profits from the Love Local Business Conference, raising £2,000 to support the charity’s essential emergency services.
