Lunar Society event celebrates transportation in the West Midlands
Transportation will be at the centre of discussion and celebration at an event hosted by The Lunar Society.
The discussion will take place at The Exchange on 29 November from 7 to 9pm.
The recent comments of the Mayor of the West Midlands Andy Street on HS2 and the talk by Tom Wedgwood at the recent Lunar Society annual dinner made a wider constructive conversation on the rail, air and automotive sectors a topical subject of enormous importance to the future of the city and region.
Guest speakers include Dr John Munro from the University of Birminghan and Adam Tranter from the West Midlands Combined Authority.
The event, hosted in collaboration with VWV Solicitors Birmingham, will highlight recent ‘green initiatives’ representatives of various sectors have been involved with whilst offering the opportunity to participate in a wider constructive conversation about the need for balance between and choice among modes of transport.
There will also be a Q&A session and a panel debate later.
