Luxury care home welcomes first resident

Eastcote Park Care Home, a new luxury care home just four miles from Solihull, has celebrated its official opening, welcoming the arrival of its first resident, Colin Cridland from Coventry.

Located near Knowle, Eastcote Park Care Home, part of the Cinnamon Care Collection, is a 50 bedroom state-of-the-art care home.

It is part of a £12 million development which also includes an on-site retirement village with 34 luxury two bedroom Retirement Apartments.

The care home provides exceptional residential, dementia and respite care and has been designed to the highest spec with wonderful facilities for residents to enjoy this includes a private dining room, bistro, cinema, exquisite lounges and dining rooms along with five acres of beautiful landscaped gardens.

It is also equipped with the latest infection control innovations, including Ozone Decontamination Units which have proven airborne disinfection capabilities.

Colins ' wife, Miora who selected the care home said: “This care home was everything we were looking for.

"Colin is able to keep as much independence as possible but with the peace of mind of having someone on hand to help twenty four hours a day. The facilities are second to none and we have been so impressed by the professionalism, friendliness and empathy of the staff.
