Madrid expansion opportunities in focus as Birmingham hosts investment forum
Businesses who are looking to explore expansion opportunities in Spain are being invited to join an investment summit in Birmingham next month.
The Madrid Investment Forum is taking place on 1 July at The Eastside Rooms, 2 Woodcock Street in Birmingham.
Organised by Invest in Madrid, in collaboration with How2Go UK, the forum is designed to support UK companies looking to explore business expansion opportunities in Spain, with a focus on the Madrid region.
It is an opportunity to discover how the community of Madrid is increasingly attracting more international businesses and why, thanks to its strategic location and commitment to innovation and technology, the city offers a fertile ground for the expansion.
Attendees will also gain insights into how Madrid stands out as a premier European and Latin American business gateway.
The half-day event promises to provide valuable insights into the practical aspects of establishing operations in Madrid.
The forum is bringing together leading legal, tax and investment professionals, alongside successful UK firms already operating in Spain.
Speakers include Andy Lawton-Smith, corporate partner at law firm Fieldfisher; Laura Garcia Alfaya, General Consul of Spain in Manchester and Diego de Aristegui, investment director at Invest in Spain.
The co-managing partners of Fieldfisher in Spain will discuss establishing a subsidiary in Madrid, including the legal and tax implications.
