Major Canadian brand launches in Burton
Canadian chain restaurant Tim Hortons had the grand opening of their newest venture in Burton on Trent.
The first customer through the drive through was offered a drinks voucher for a year, which is rumoured to be worth around £3,100.
The opening day also consisted of other treats including a free breakfast for the first 100 people through the door, as well as lots of free merchandise being handed out to the hungry visitors.
The store showcased a huge glass display of their deluxe donuts, as well as a range of hot and cold drinks, breakfast options and even a lunch menu that continues throughout the day.
Coffee fans Nik (founder and managing director) and Blu (marketing executive) from Hardy Signs, were excited to be invited for a complimentary breakfast, as well as being treated to coffee and nearly 30 donuts for the staff back at Hardy Signs.
Nik Hardy said: “We we 're honoured to have been invited to the opening of this exciting new restaurant in Burton on Trent. As a local business it 's great to see and support new ventures and within the town ”.
Blu Hardy said: “We had a lovely morning, thank you to Nicole Simmonds (assistant brand manager for Tim Hortons UK & Ireland LTD) for inviting us. I was pleasantly surprised to see they had vegetarian breakfast options which is rare for a fast-food chain. It was great to see everyone 's faces when we returned to base with goodies. ”
