Major conference brings hundreds of family lawyers to Birmingham
The Resolution National Conference, UK’s biggest family law event, has taken place in Birmingham - with over 400 law professionals coming together.
The two-day event was chaired by Adam Maguire (pictured), a partner in the family law team at national law firm Clarke Willmott LLP.
It was also attended by Sir Andrew McFarlane, the President of the Family Division of the High Court of Justice in England and Wales.
Resolution is a membership organisation for family law professionals committed to working in a constructive way.
It has over 6,500 members and 39 regional groups across England and Wales.
Adam said: “It truly was an honour to chair the two-day event, delivering the opening address and welcoming over 400 family law colleagues from across the country to Birmingham.
“I am very proud of the collaborative, vibrant and active region here in the Midlands and some of Birmingham's best and brightest helped make the event a success.
“Resolution is a hugely important organisation which stands for a collaborative and constructive approach to family law. Our community of family justice professionals work incredibly hard to produce better outcomes for separating couples and their children and conferences like this continue to inspire our work.”
Adam is a family law specialist at Clarke Willmott and chair of Resolution West Midlands.
