Marketing expert featured in latest entrepreneurial video series
Ben Bradley, founder of Cannock Chase based digital agency Cosmik Carrot, has been featured in the latest episode of Vision to Venture, a long-form interview series that profiles the founders behind established UK businesses.
The interview was conducted by Neil Betts, vice president of the Cannock Chase Chamber of Commerce and owner of strategic consultancy Go True North and the Vision to Venture series.
The conversation runs for an hour, giving business founders plenty of time to tell their story.
The interview covers the full 18-year story of Cosmik Carrot, from why Ben started the agency from a home office in 2008, through the shift of the web from desktop to mobile, to how the business has retained some clients for more than a decade by sticking to one principle: straight answers, delivered without the jargon.
Ben also talks about the decision to deliberately stay small, the common patterns he sees when businesses are let down by larger agencies, and what he believes every business owner should understand about their own website before hiring anyone to work on it.
Speaking about the interview, Ben said: "So much of what goes wrong in this industry comes down to complication for the sake of it.
“I started Cosmik Carrot because I saw good business owners being talked over by agencies that were more interested in the pitch than the result.
“Vision to Venture gave me the time to explain all of that properly, which is a conversation I do not often get to have at length."
Cosmik Carrot, founded in 2008 and based in Cannock Chase, provides web design, WordPress care, SEO, and Google Ads services to businesses across Staffordshire and the wider UK.
The agency has been shortlisted for Cannock Chase Business of the Year in 2024, 2025, and 2026, and was shortlisted at the Midlands Marketing Awards for best use of data in 2024 and 2025.
