McArthurGlen West Midlands celebrates five years in business over bank holiday weekend
West Midlands Designer Outlet McArthurGlen celebrated its fifth anniversary over the Easter weekend with a special programme of events, exclusive offers and family-friendly experiences.
Since opening in 2021, the Centre has welcomed over 15 million guests and generated nearly half a billion pounds in retail sales in Cannock, reinforcing its position as one of the UK’s leading premium outlet destinations.
Over the past five years, more than 15.6 million transactions have taken place, the equivalent of one purchase every 10 seconds with almost 39 million products sold.
The outlet has also gone from strength to strength as it is now fully let, reflecting the continued demand from both brands and customers.
Home to an impressive line-up of stores including Coach, Nike, BOSS, Levi’s and Tommy Hilfiger, it continues to provide guests with an unrivalled shopping and dining experience.
Since opening, the centre has also played an important role in supporting the community, contributing to job creation, and contributing over a quarter of a million pounds to the local charities and giving back to the community.
During the celebrations, guests enjoyed a vibrant line-up of activity across the Centre, including an extra savings weekend with the Easter Bunny handing out chocolate treats
Running from 30 March to 12 April, visitors can also take part in the Centre’s 5-Year Anniversary Doodle Cube Trail.
Families can begin their adventure at Guest Services, collect a trail leaflet and explore the outlet in search of five colourful “Number 5” cubes.
After completing the trail and adding their creative designs, participants can return their sheet to receive a special Easter chocolate treat!
McArthurGlen Club users will also be treated to an extra 10 per cent = off pass that can be used across the coming weekend.
Meanwhile, the British modern heritage brand Belstaff is set to open a brand-new store at the Centre in April.
Founded in nearby Stoke-on-Trent, the brand is rooted in innovation and adventure, with the new 1957 sq. ft. store offering a huge range of both womenswear and menswear for guests.
David Jackson, centre manager at West Midlands Designer Outlet, said: “We are incredibly proud to be celebrating five successful years at West Midlands Designer Outlet.
“This anniversary is a wonderful opportunity to thank our guests and community for their continued support, and to welcome even more visitors to enjoy everything the Centre has to offer.
“We look forward to celebrating together and welcoming families over the Easter weekend.”
