Media company announces charity partner

Birmingham production company Spark Media has announced Molly Olly 's Wishes as its charity partner.

The charity partner works to support children with life-threatening illnesses and their families emotional wellbeing.

“I first came across the team from Spark when they interviewed me asparent who had recently suffered the loss of my daughter on behalf of Birmingham Children 's Hospital, ” says Rachel Ollerenshaw, the founder of Molly Olly 's Wishes.

“They were very sensitive to family situations and gave myself and the other families being interviewed time and understanding.

“They have done their utmost to support our work and we are extremely grateful to them for their kindness and sensitivity. ”

Spark Media 's collaboration with the charity has been long established, having produced five films for them since their beginnings in 2015.

Danny Gwynne, co-founder of Spark Media, said: “It 's always been an absolute honour to have Molly Olly 's Wishes as our charity partner, and no one works harder than Rachel.

“I 've seen first hand the impact that Molly Olly 's make on families in their darkest days, and that will stay with me forever.

“So if we can play at least a small part in their future, and showcase the work they do through video, then it can help communicate that impact, and drive vital awareness - and we hope - funds.

“We look forward to helping support more and more families in years to come. ”

Over 15,000 children have been helped since the charity was founded back in 2011, and over 12,000 original Olly the Brave books donated to hospitals all around the UK.
