Two talented individuals from Burton based AI Global Media have achieved Masters’ level qualifications via the National Apprenticeship Scheme.

Awards manager Laura O’Carroll and digital marketing manager Patrick Doherty completed the Level 7 senior leader course, equivalent to a Masters’ degree academically, with both gaining a Distinction.

Laura  joined AI Global Media in 2014 when the business was less than four years old.

She first joined the features team, quickly rising to assistant manager before becoming the awards manager seven years ago.

Laura completed a Level 5 in Leadership Management with the Institute of Leadership & Management and has now gained a Distinction after successfully completing her Level 7 with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

Patrick joined AI Global Media in 2017 as a digital marketing executive, ascending to his current role as manager in 2020.

During his time with the company, Patrick has also completed a Level 6 Diploma in Professional Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, in addition to his recent Level 7 with the CMI.

Patrick has led some major projects for the business over the last nine years, such as developing the yearly strategic marketing plan, managing web design and development across the company’s 13 websites, and working closely with other teams to ensure a great service and exceptional journeys for its customers.

AI Global Media founder and director Kathryn Hall said: “Both Laura and Patrick are supporting us in shaping the future of AI Global Media.

“Our mission as a team is to support small- and medium-sized business leaders in enhancing their business profiles, in turn growing their businesses.

“These two customer-focused individuals are passionate about offering incredible products and a fantastic service.

“We’re excited to see what we can achieve with the strategic way of thinking these senior leadership course completions will bring.”
