What is your name, job title, and organisation?
My name is Sarah Griffiths, and I’m the director of PMO at Intercity.
On the Future Faces committee, which working group are you part of and why?
As president of Future Faces, I work closely across all working groups to ensure alignment and momentum. I’m particularly passionate about charity, member engagement and professional development, as these areas are key to delivering real value for our members.
What does your day-to-day role involve?
In my role as director of PMO, I oversee project governance, delivery frameworks, and strategic programme execution.
My day-to-day work involves ensuring projects are aligned to business objectives, delivering business wide transformation, supporting teams to deliver effectively, and driving continuous improvement across our processes.
Why did you decide to join the committee?
I joined the Future Faces committee because I’m passionate about supporting the next generation of professionals in Birmingham. It’s a great platform to connect people, share experiences, and create opportunities that help individuals thrive.
What are you most looking forward to achieving or contributing on the committee?
I want to help raise the profile of Future Faces and the impact it has within the wider business community.
What do you see as the biggest opportunity for Future Faces right now?
The biggest opportunity is to further expand our reach and influence, bringing in more diverse voices and creating even more targeted opportunities for development.
What is your favourite thing about Birmingham?
My favourite thing about Birmingham is its energy and diversity. It’s a city that’s constantly evolving, with a strong sense of community and a vibrant business scene that makes it an exciting place to live and work.
How long have you been a Future Faces member for?
I have been a Future Faces member for four years now and every minute has been brilliant!
