Families have only days left to get tickets for Burton's five-acre Moonlight Maze, as the National Forest Adventure Farm in Tatenhill seeks to raise crucial funds to combat homelessness.

This event supports YMCA Burton, which provides housing and essential food parcels to those in need. It is also the chosen charity of the Burton Chamber of Commerce.

The Moonlight Maze event, happening on Saturday, 3 August, will feature live music, activities, stalls, and a dog agility course.

This fundraiser marks the farm's 20th anniversary and aims to bring their total donations to £20,000 by raising an additional £4,000 this year.

Ivor Robinson, co-owner of the farm, highlights the importance of community events like this: "We love providing outdoor activities for families and supporting our community. Moonlight Maze is a unique chance to enjoy the countryside and raise money for a worthy cause."

Burton YMCA, the farm's chosen charity for 2024, supports over 10,000 people annually through housing and food parcel services.

Paula Senior, fundraising and partnerships manager at YMCA Burton, expressed excitement about the partnership: "We're thrilled to be the chosen charity. The funds raised will directly impact our local community through our essential services."

To date, the farm has raised £2,330 of their £4,000 target and hopes to reach the goal with the upcoming Moonlight Maze event. Tickets are £5, with all proceeds benefiting YMCA Burton.
