Moors claim community club title

Solihull Moors were named as Non-League Community Club of the year at the 2022 Football Supporters' Association awards evening.

At Solihull Moors, we are extremely proud of our Solihull Moors Foundation and the daily work carried out to reinforce the local community, sitting at the heart of it. We support those most in need, through our football and education project and our outreach programme.

The award is recognition for the work carried out the Solihull Moors Foundation, its core of volunteer coaches , sessional and full-time staff .

The Foundation supports those most in need, through our football and education projects and an outreach programme.

CEO Becci Fox (pictured) said “This is award is recognition of all the hard work by everyone involved in the work of the foundation, who serve the community with dedication meaning we are able to offer a variety of projects to the wider community that makes us inclusive. It really is a celebration for all. ”

Solihull Moors were nominated for the award by the FSA themselves, who have been admirers of the Foundation from afar.

The FSA also highlighted the limited resources at the disposal of the Foundation and the ability to source their own funding through hard work, making the achievements even more commendable.
