Solihull Moors have completed the signing of Sheffield United defender Harry Boyes on a long-term loan until January 2022.

Mr Boyes (pictured), aged 19, is an attacking full-back and has been with the Blades since July 2018. He was a key member of their under-23 's title-winning side last season.

Born in Barnsley, Mr Boyes spent eight years with Manchester City prior to his move to Bramall Lane.

He was a regular for United 's under-23 's last season and enjoyed a loan spell with Bradford Park Avenue in the National League North, where he scored a couple of stunning goals.

His form with the 23 's, in addition to the successful loan stint at Bradford PA, led to Boyes training with the first team and earning a place on the bench for the Blades in their Premier League fixture at Newcastle United in May.

On his new venture with Moors, Mr Boyes said: “I 'm really excited to be here. The lads have welcomed me and I 'm looking forward to playing and doing my best for the club.

“I enjoyed playing men 's football last season with Bradford Park Avenue, so I want to kick on again here and see where it can take me.

“I 'm an attacking full-back. I love to get forward, get crosses in and I love a good shot as well.

“I want to win, I hate losing - that 's one thing I don 't want to do. I 'll do everything I can to win for the lads. ”
