Solihull Moors are offering fans a match day with a difference at Altrincham on Saturday 29 January.

Following the success of their themed home games this season, they have announced yet another match theme as they get ready to host a Celebration of Culture at the ARMCO Arena.

In partnership with Fans for Diversity, Moors are using the encounter against the Robins as a platform to celebrate diversity within the beautiful game.

The Fans for Diversity campaign is a joint project by the Football Supporters ' Association and Kick It Out. It is a cause Moors are fully behind, making sure everyone, no matter age, disability, gender, race, faith, or sexual orientation feels safe on the terraces.

It 's a stance Moors take very seriously and, in a show of support, all first-team players will take to the field wearing t-shirts displaying the Fans for Diversity message.

Dhol players will help get the party started, banging their drums prior to kick off - a sure-fire way to entertain the crowd.

At half-time, Atwal Wealth Management 's generosity means fans will be treated to a performance from Midlands-based dance school, Ultimate Bhangra.

Harpreet Atwal, managing director of Atwal Wealth Management, said: “We are honoured to be supporting this event and wholeheartedly thank the team at Solihull Moors FC for their assistance.

“I thank you for this opportunity to embrace cultures. Racism is broken the minute we start to understand each other 's culture.

“In a strong message to give racism the red card I am confident that the event will be a roaring success in building lasting relationships.

“I trust many new fans will get to experience the friendly atmosphere of the Moors. Get ready to rock to some fabulous Bhangra music and dancers and enjoy some great football. Let 's Embrace Diversity! ”

Nilesh Chauhan, founder of Villans Together, added: “It's great to see Solihull Moors taking that step to encourage and welcome people from all backgrounds to the club.

“This is great for the club but also great for non-league football as a whole. ”

Panjabi Rasoi will also be serving up delicious authentic Asian cuisine.

This time around fans will again be able to sample vegetable samosas, chickpea chaat, masala fries, and much more, all washed down with a hot cup of Chai tea.
