MP to host Kickstart scheme webinar

Details of the Government's Kickstart scheme will be divulged by Cannock Chase MP, Amanda Milling.

The Kickstart Scheme is designed to help create new job placements for 16 to24-year olds on Universal Credit and at risk of long-term unemployment.

Businesses which are able to guarantee six-month positions will receive funding that provides 100 per cent of the National Minimum wage for the participant for 25 hours per week, and associated employer costs such as National Insurance and automatic enrolment contributions.

The webinar will take place on 5 February 2021 at 9.30am and will include representatives from the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
