MP hosts event to get Sutton firms exporting
Sutton Coldfield MP Andrew Mitchell is holding an event offering businesses guidance to export and grow internationally.
The West Midlands Parliamentary Export Programme is supported by the Department for International Trade and aims to give guidance and tools required by firms to export and grow.
The online session hosted by Mr Mitchell (pictured) takes place on 24 May (10am to 11am).
This is the first of a series of three 60-minute events, chaired by Mr Mitchell and organised exclusively for businesses in the Sutton Coldfield constituency.
The first meeting will have key tailored messages from HMRC and DIT on changes to trading after the end of the Transition Period and the opportunities available to businesses.
In addition, panellists will include:
- A local experienced exporter who will share their experience.
- An International Trade Adviser who will provide an overview of the extensive support available to businesses to export
- A local UK Export Finance manager who will provide an overview on accessing finance for exporting.
