A 5.5km charity walk organised by Multifleet Vehicle Management has raised more than £1,350 to help fund a project at the Marie Curie Hospice in Solihull.

Multifleet, which trades as runyourfleet and is based in Solihull, invited its staff, their families, friends and dogs to join the walk called “walkyourfeet” on Sunday 9 November.

Dozens of walkers and their pooches took part and, including Gift Aid, they raised a total of £1,351.35 to help fund the Marie Curie Men’s Shed Therapy project.

The project helps reduce the social isolation of people living with palliative diagnoses by encouraging them to meet with other patients.

Joanna Lees, marketing and PR manager at runyourfleet, said: “We had more than 35 employees, family, friends, suppliers and customers joining us as we started out at 11am from the Red Lion pub in Earlswood.

“We all really enjoyed walking 5.5k around the lakes and then back to the pub for a social time with family and friends.

“We want to say a massive thank you to everyone who took part in raising funds for this great project.

“We are now planning to do more walkyourfeet events for charity in 2026.”
