National security show comes to NEC
In a time when security is at the forefront of people 's minds, The Security Event is returning to the NEC Birmingham - and businesses across the region are being invited to attend for free.
Running between April 5 and 7, the event will showcase some of the latest systems and solutions by more than 600 exhibitors, including high-profile brands such as Honeywell, Mitie, Tyco and Fujifilm.
The event is not only for tech specialists, but also business owners and consumers, emphasising the importance of security as a wider issue that affects us both personally and professionally.
Visitors will also have free access to three other major leading industry events co-located with The Security Event - The Workplace Event, The Fire Safety Event, and The Health & Safety Event.
The co-located events will provide an opportunity to meet face-to-face and network with key experts from across multiple industries, in a time when other events have moved to virtual platforms.
Expert-led talks will welcome a host of speakers from diverse backgrounds, including Prof. Fraser Sampson, Surveillance Camera and Biometrics Commissioner for the Home Office; Letitia Emeana, head of security at Unilever; and Jonny Jacobs, finance director EMEA for Starbucks.
Organisers will be hosting a Happy Hour from 12.30pm to 1.30pm each day.
There will be free drinks, live entertainment and the chance to win £1,000 holiday vouchers.
