The UK 's first national exhibition dedicated to the field of dyslexia and associated conditions will take place at the NEC, Birmingham in March 2022.
The announcement comes during Dyslexia Awareness Week (4- 10 October 2021), which this year focuses on invisible dyslexia and explores the entire theme of visibility within the community.
Previously set to make its debut in March 2020, Dyslexia Show aims to spread awareness and support education, parents and the workplace.
Bringing together 49 plus exhibitors and more than 60 leading experts, the live event will offer products and services, be an opportunity to share knowledge, spread awareness and support continuing professional development (CPD) in all areas of dyslexia.
The event 's aim is to ultimately ensure that we all have an informed choice in the awareness and support of dyslexia by delivering support, awareness, knowledge and change.
Over the past 18 months, Dyslexia Show has been working closely with partners, sponsors, exhibitors, and amazing speakers to create a unique exhibition for all within the community.
Dyslexia Show director and founder, Arran Smith, said: “As a severely dyslexic adult working for 15 years within the dyslexia sector, I felt it was time to bring amazing speakers, products and services together in one place. This will be the first, national experience of its kind in the UK, which will ultimately spread awareness of dyslexia and ensure that dyslexics can succeed. There are exciting times ahead! ”
NEC Exhibition Sales director, Catherine Penny, added: “We are proud that Arran and his team have chosen the NEC for the event 's debut. Our location in the heart of the UK has the ability to attract great numbers to the event and teamed with the fantastic content the Dyslexia Show has planned, will spread much needed awareness of dyslexia and associated conditions. ”
