Network, reduce stress and meet cute dogs at free event
The Midlands oldest and most loved animal welfare charity, Birmingham Dogs Home, is teaming up with dog-friendly venue, Aloft Birmingham Eastside Hotel, to host a unique networking event for local businesses.
On Friday 16 September, from 8am-10am, businesses are invited to experience a 'Barking Breakfast ' where they will learn wellbeing and relaxation techniques from leading experts, meet some of the charity 's four-legged friends looking for their 'furrever ' homes and network with other businesses over a delicious breakfast.
In addition, the charity will be unveiling their exciting fundraising plans for 2023 so businesses can find out how their teams can get involved and make a positive difference to the community.
As well as this, over the course of the event, there will be a raffle competition with prizes to be won.
Fi Harrision, head of fundraising at Brimingham Dogs Home, said: “This year marks 130 years of caring for lost and homeless dogs across the Midlands which is why we wanted to bring the business community together to enjoy a special networking event.
“With businesses slowly returning to a new normal with the implementation of hybrid working, we thought it would be a pawsome idea to host a happy-tailed event for local workers before work so they can start their day with a smile. Plus, attendees are welcome to bring their own dogs too! ”
Lulu Donna Nulty of Aloft Eastside rooms added: “We are so pleased to be supporting Birmingham Dogs Home, a fabulous charity close to our hearts. Our hotel is situated close to the original site of the charity and is very dog friendly so we are all very excited to welcome even more special waggy-tailed guests."
