Networking event for creators set to launch next month
A networking event aimed at professionals in the creative industries is set to launch next month.
The event, named as Creative Circle will be held at Zellig Arts Space on Thursday, 26 October from 8.30am to 10am.
It is organised by Creative Alliance, a specialist training provider in creative, digital and marketing apprenticeships. Their ambition is to support the growth of the creative sector by enabling connections between people, ideas and businesses.
The event will offer a space to meet people in the creative and digital sectors, share practices, experiences and support each other as allies.
Creative Alliance said in a statement: “Join us for an easy morning, with FREE pastries and refreshments, and meet your neighbours in Zellig, The Custard Factory and other similar offices across Birmingham.
“It is all about getting to know your peers and have a good time while building relationships, collaborations and develop the industry together.”
A talk will be given by Noel Dunne, the founder of Creative Alliance to introduce the event.
Creative Circle is scheduled to be a monthly recurrent event that will build over time, to create a vibrant and supportive community for the development of the creative sector in Birmingham.
They will be seeking further sponsors to host events as well as provide refreshments each month, enabling professionals to showcase their business and further develop collaborations as part of the circle.
