New committee members to shape Chambers' future trade links
Four individuals have been appointed to help shape the future of trade between Greater Birmingham, North America and the Commonwealth.
Greater Birmingham Transatlantic Chamber of Commerce has welcomed three new members to its committee to support president James Tait and vice-president Eileen Schofield.
They are global HR consultant Michael Butler of Cross-Border HR, Shajahan Karim of real estate investment firm Sovereign Landmark Ltd and Gerard Davies of sustainability specialists Contented.
Meanwhile, Louise Teboul of leadership development firm Common Purpose UK has joined the committee of the Greater Birmingham Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce.
Michael Buter helps UK companies with requirements for HR work in the United States, having previously spent seven years as a HR practitioner in several US states.
Shajahan Karim has experience of working with partners and investment associates in real estate, including those in key US cities such as Detroit, Chicago and Washington DC.
Gerard Davies is the CEO of Birmingham-based Contented, which supports business leaders ' needs relating to compliance and certification, helping them boost their sustainability goals and turn it into a source of competitive advantage.
Louise Teboul (pictured) leads Common Purpose UK 's Global Leaders Programme and has previously collaborated with Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce on campaigns including Growth Through People and the Future Faces annual awards.
