New president to be elected at AGM
Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce will elect a new president and vice-president at its annual general meeting next month.
The AGM is taking place at Coton House Farm in Whittington, near Lichfield, at midday on Tuesday 18 October.
As well as hearing an update on the past year 's activities, the AGM will confirm the election of a new president to succeed Jason Challoner (pictured).
A new vice-president will also be announced to support current vice-president Julie Poppleton.
There are several vacancies on the Chamber's executive committee, with the deadline to apply on 30 September.
Chris Brewerton, head of Lichfield and Chamber, said: “Members will have the opportunity to thank Jason Challoner as he completes his term as president, as well as welcoming his successor.
“There will also be an update on how we plan to engage with and promote the business community across Lichfield and Tamworth over the next 12 months. ”
