Residential developer HUB is set to reveal initial ideas for a new residential-led development in Snow Hill, Birmingham.

The developer acquired the site earlier this year, and is looking to deliver a building including homes with shared amenities and enhanced public spaces, using a lower carbon approach.

Initial ideas are being shared with local residents and business owners at a consultation coffee morning on the 16 June, at Urban Emporium caf on Church Street (7.30am to 10am).

Locals are welcome to come and view the plans and give their feedback.

HUB says its proposed development will provide high quality homes, as well as a new public space, mixed ground-floor commercial space and on-site residents ' amenities.

Sitting at the meeting point of Snow Hill Queensway and Weaman Street, the location is well connected with areas such as Colmore Row and the Jewellery Quarter.

Damien Sharkey, managing director at HUB, said: “We are excited to be developing plans for our site in Snow Hill, a fantastic part of the city with great transport connections, access to green space, and proximity to the city centre.

“HUB has a great track record of delivering schemes in close collaboration with communities across the UK.

“We look forward to presenting our initial ideas to local residents and businesses, and to hearing about their priorities for this development. ”
