New tax partner is accountancy firm’s latest hire

Accountancy firm Cooper Parry has appointed Adam Waller as Head of Tax Consulting, joining from Big Four firm PwC.

Based in Manchester, Adam (pictured) will lead Cooper Parry’s national tax advisory channel, driving strategic advisory work across business tax, private client, and transaction tax. 

Adam brings over 25 years of tax experience, including the last 14 at PwC, where he advised a wide range of clients and was the market senior partner for the North West, from entrepreneurial start-ups to large corporates and high-net-worth individuals.

Adam said: “After 14 fantastic years at PwC and a career in the Big 4, I was ready for a new challenge and Cooper Parry really stood out.

“The firm’s energy, ambition, and people-first culture are genuinely different.

“Cooper Parry is growing fast, making waves in the market, and I’m excited to help shape the next chapter of its tax advisory journey.” 

In his new role, Adam will lead a national team focused on partnering clients to deliver high-value, strategic tax outcomes.

His areas of expertise include shareholder exits, succession planning, employee incentives, inheritance tax, and efficient business and wealth structuring.

Key priorities for private businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth clients across the UK.
