New twice-weekly service to Lanzarote take off from Birmingham Airport

A new twice-weekly route from Birmingham Airport to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands has launched.

easyJet’s new route will provide convenient options, departing on Thursdays and Sundays, perfect for a long-weekend or week-long winter break.

It follows the carrier’s recently announced route from Birmingham to Rome which will take off from 5 March, 2026.

Al Titterington, terminal operations director at Birmingham Airport, said: “We’re delighted to see easyJet’s inaugural flight to Lanzarote take off from Birmingham Airport.

“This new year-round service bolsters our existing connectivity to Lanzarote and will provide even more choice for customers looking to explore the sunny Canary Islands.”
