Nominations open for Multicultural Business and Community Champion awards

The awards will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Saturday 30 November and is a testament to the power of community.
The dinner and business awards evening includes a red carpet drinks reception, 3-course dinner and show stopping entertainment.
The event, previously sponsored by Birmingham City Council and Lloyds Bank, will see 14 awards being handed out at the event. Nominations are now open for all awards.
The MBCC awards was set up in 2016 by Zoe Bennett as a non profit organisation with the sole purpose of recognising people nationally. The mission was to focus on the people that make a difference in both the business and general community.
Nominations will be judged by a panel which includes Henrietta Brealey, chief executive of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce.
Meanwhile, Dr Tru Powell who was in the MBCC leadership group since 2017 has stepped down from the role.
CEO of Training Personified and founder of the MBCC Awards Zoe Bennett (pictured) said: “Each year, we make and go through changes like any other organisation and each year we are fortunate to grow as we always focus on empowering and celebrating other people.
“We will miss Tru Powell and thank him for his valuable contribution and wish him well for the future.”
