Birmingham Business Park have named Birmingham Dogs Home as their Charity of the Year for 2023, following a voting process by the Birmingham Business Park community.

Lori Henebury, Marketing Community and Business Development manager said: “We are delighted to announce that following our community here at Birmingham Business Park taking part in a vote, Birmingham Dog 's Home received the highest amount of votes and as such will be our partner charity for 2023!

“We are super excited to be working with Fi and her wonderful team this year on lots of exciting events, whilst raising essential funding to support the rescue centre based just down the road from us. ”

Fi Harrison, head of Fundraising & Communications said: “This means so much to us as a local charity. We have been serving the Midlands community for over 130 years and we are busier than ever at the moment, with all 120 kennels at our rescue centre near Birmingham Business Park full, as well as 100 more kennels at our centre near Wolverhampton.

“It is a huge boost to our very hard-working team to know that we have the support of the amazing organisations at BBP, backing our efforts as we provide round the clock veterinary care, shelter, food, exercise and training to our many four-legged residents.

“It costs thousands of pounds every day to keep our doors open and provide the highest levels of animal welfare possible and we can only do this with the support of socially responsible minded businesses and compassionate local dog lovers.

“We are looking forward to a year of collaboration and exciting events and our canine carers are looking forward to more walkies around the beautiful landscape of BBP. A huge thank you from all the team, we can 't wait to meet you. ”
