Ofsted validates academy 's 'outstanding ' performance
Bristnall Hall Academy in Oldbury has received an outstanding Ofsted report for their commitment to the success, development and well-being of their students.
The academy received the inspirational report following a successful Section 8 inspection in November 2021. It marks the outstanding improvements made since the school 's previous inspection in November 2016, where inspectors deemed the academy to be 'Good ' in all categories.
Bristnall Hall Academy 's Progress 8 scores are positive in every category, including the core subjects of English, Mathematics and Science. These results show that students of all abilities have excelled and made transformational progress.
The academy 's latest Ofsted report also includes significant praise, stating that “there is enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged Outstanding ” and that “pupils say how happy they are coming to school, enjoy their work and are excited about their learning� ”.
Inspectors also noted that students at Bristnall Hall Academy “have positive attitudes to their learning ”, thus ensuring that they “achieve highly in their studies, including in English and Mathematics ”.
The Ofsted report also makes keen observations of staff at the academy, who go “above and beyond ” for their students and said that “leaders have designed an ambitious curriculum which is very well sequenced� ensuring that pupils build on and apply their knowledge to new learning. ”
