Original artists showcased at venue’s Acoustic Lounge sessions
The Hub at St Mary’s in Lichfield is hosting a series of events dedicated to original songwriting, starting this month.
‘Acoustic Lounge Introduces…’ celebrates the region’s vibrant songwriting talent.
The first event is on Thursday 16 April (7.30pm).
Each event offers a platform for singer-songwriters to share their original music and tracks from artists that inspire them.
Our singer/songwriters will be Sarah Riches, an acclaimed Country Music artist with a Nashville produced album among her credits .
Rory Black (pictured) is an exciting new talent and winner of the recent Hub Songwriting Competition.
He is currently being mentored by the legendary Guy Chambers, songwriting partner for Robbie Williams and Kylie Minogue).
Sheena Vultaggio blends delicate piano with haunting vocals, telling thought-provoking stories of life, love and loss.
Bryan Brindley’s music is rooted in real experiences - honest, relatable songs that reflect life’s challenges while still offering a sense of hope and optimism.
Acoustic Lounge Introduces… is delivered by Lichfield actor/producer Tom Roberts and the team behind Sunday Acoustic Lounge.
Tom said: “We want to shine the light on the songwriters. Those talented folk who put the words and music together.
“This will be an intimate evening of stories and songs, all in the sublime surroundings of The Hub at St Mary's.”
