Outdoor production firm welcomes new event manager
Award-winning creative production company Outdoor Places Unusual Spaces (OPUS) has appointed Dalena Vo as new event manager.
The firm is dedicated to delivering bold, high-impact cultural and public events in outdoor and non-traditional spaces.
Dalena is a versatile and accomplished production manager known for her logistical expertise, calm leadership under pressure, ability to manage multiple simultaneous productions, and a proven capability in leading large, multidisciplinary teams.
She brings an impressive portfolio of experience across large-scale factual entertainment, live broadcasts, international shoots, and children's programming—making her a valuable addition to the OPUS team as it continues to deliver exceptional outdoor cultural experiences across the UK.
Her recent roles include Project Manager for the Throne and Liberty Drone Show inside BLVD World in Saudi Arabia.
Nationally, Dalena has held key roles for BBC Studios as the Production Manager for the Religion slate’s Easter Sunday Service, Urbi et Orbi, A Celebration for Pentecost, as well as Location Production Manager for Trooping the Colour.
In her new role at OPUS, Dalena will lead event delivery across the producing house’s celebrated portfolio, which includes work with the National Trust, National Memorial Arboretum, and Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
She will support arts programming in collaboration with clients such as the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra (CBSO) and will deliver on the next edition of Birmingham Light Festival.
