Partnership to drive recruitment for leadership programme

Birmingham City Business School and B2B Consultancy Sales Marvel have partnered to drive recruitment to the popular 'Help to Grow: Management Leadership Development programme ', created especially for SMEs of between 5 and 249 employees.

Barny Morris, associate director for Business and Corporate Development, said: “SME businesses are grappling with some really big issues right now - from the cost of living to increased energy costs and recruiting skilled people - Help to Grow 's blend of online and in-person learning helps participants understand, strategise and overcome these issues and emerge stronger, more resilient managers as a result.

“With Sales Marvel 's knowledge of both Academia and real-world business, they were the perfect fit to augment our existing business development team. As a result we have successfully launched Cohort 6 at a very difficult time in December and we already have strong indications for the Cohort 7 discovery webinar on 24 January.

“Help to Grow: Management programme is also 90 per cent funded by Government too, so it 's very accessible. ”

Help to Grow: Management is a 12-week programme consisting of a blend of online sessions, in-person learning and peer to peer networking. Each 2-hour session allows time for businesses to implement their learnings and feedback to the group.

Participants also get 1:1 support from a business mentor and access to BCBS ' alumni network after they 've completed their journey.
