Player departs from Moors to football league
Solihull Moors have confirmed that James Ball has departed the club to join League Two side, Rochdale AFC.
The 26-year-old moves for an undisclosed fee, signalling an end to his stay with Moors which spanned over two years.
During that time, Ball made 84 appearances and scored 22 goals for the club.
James returns to the EFL with the club's very best wishes, and they have thanked him for his contribution at Moors following his arrival in October 2019.
Technical director, Craig Cope, said: “We are extremely disappointed to be losing James at this time.
“However, we respect that James wants to further his career in the EFL as he thoroughly deserves this step up.
“James has had a positive impact at the club since arriving in 2019 and follows the footsteps of several former Moors players into the Football League. ”
