Podcast championing Birmingham achieves six million organic views
A podcast which champions the region has recently achieved over six million organic views in the last quarter.
The Made in Brum podcast was co-created and hosted by the team behind Certified Pro Installs, an electrical and fire safety service provider in the city.
Made in Brum has rapidly become one of the region’s most engaging business and culture podcasts — built around the concept of championing people, stories, and successes of Birmingham and the wider West Midlands.
The podcast shines a spotlight on local entrepreneurs, business leaders, creatives, and personalities who are shaping the region, providing a platform for authentic, unfiltered conversations that resonate far beyond the Midlands.
Recent guests have included prominent regional figures such as Henrietta Brealey, CEO of the Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce, further reinforcing the podcast’s growing reputation and influence within the local business community.
Chris Bagnall, managing director of Certified Pro Installs Ltd and co-creator of the podcast, said: “We started Made in Brum to tell real stories about real people from this region — the graft, the setbacks, the wins.
“To see it hit 9.5 million organic views in a single quarter shows there’s a real appetite for that. Birmingham and the West Midlands are full of incredible people, and we’re proud to give them a platform.”
Unlike traditional media, the podcast’s growth has been driven entirely through organic reach across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook, reflecting both the strength of its content and the demand for regional storytelling done properly.
This milestone not only highlights the success of the podcast but also underscores Certified Pro Installs Ltd’s broader commitment to supporting and promoting business, culture, and community across the West Midlands.
With further high-profile guests and content planned, Made in Brum is set to continue its upward trajectory — firmly positioning itself as a leading voice for the region.
