Chamber members are being invited to pot with PLOTT - as part of a fundraising pool competition.

Creative agency PLOTT Creative is holding a pool tournament with a twist in support of Terry Hale, husband of Sutton Coldfield Chamber chair Katie Hale, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year.

Motor Neurone Disease happens when cells in the brain and nerves, called motor neurones, gradually stop working. This causes the muscles to weaken, stiffen and waste.

Katie, past president of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber, is a lifelong friend of the PLOTT team and works closely with the agency.

So, to show their support, the PLOTT team have devised a 'Triple Seven ' pool tournament at their offices at Coppice Garden Centre.

The pay-as-you play format challenges participants to pot seven reds, seven yellows and the black ball in seven minutes.

There is a trophy up for grabs with the player who achieves the fastest time.

Each player must make a minimum £10 donation to enter.

Anna Plotnek of PLOTT Creative said: “Katie a much-loved member of the PLOTT family and a lifelong friend.

“Her world was turned upside down last December when her husband, Terry, was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease.

“Katie is a practical person, and so she and Terry have made some big life-changes to adapt to the situation. Needless to say some of these adaptations are costly.

“We love Katie and Terry, and want to support them. So in true PLOTT style we're going to do something fun to raise money.

“All Chamber members are invited to come and play, have fun, and help us raise funds to help and support Katie and Terry. ”
