PR agency chief shortlisted for coveted award

Burton based Karen McElroy, managing director of PR agency FCM, has been shortlisted for a coveted sector award.

Karen (pictured) is one of those shortlisted in the Professional of the Year category as part of the annual Dare Awards 2021, hosted by PRCA, the world's largest PR professional body.

The PRCA Dare Awards strive to seek out and reward the very best PR and communications professionals across the UK, decided by a panel of highly respected industry experts across eight regions.

Long-term Chamber member Karen established FCM in 2005, and the growing team of associates offer PR and communications expertise to a wide range of clients across the region and beyond.

On her nomination, Karen said: “I am extremely proud to be named a finalist, especially in the Professional of the Year category, and really looking forward to attending an actual award ceremony at the end of June. ”

The awards ceremony will take place on 29 June at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.
